Leather cleaning and stuff

on Thu Apr 27, 2017 2:11 pm
Don't all spit your tea out but at the moment my Merc appears to be functional.

I've therefore decided to reward it at the weekend by washing it and giving it a bit of a pamper.

The leather is looking decidedly dirty though (its grey) and theres the usual scuff on the side of the drivers seat

so i wondered if anyone had any product recommendations/old wives tales about giving me gleamin leather.

cheers

I've used Meguiars Gold Class leather cleaner/conditioner before and it's made the leather look newer and the seats feel more sumptuous to sit in. No experience with other products but I'm happy with the results the Meguiars gives so would buy it again. Smile

John,

FF is not wrong about Meguiars, but the best I have used has been Gliptone - cleaner and feeder .
Don't know if you can find it by the weekend but well worth a try...

John,

I have a very old bottle of Auto Glym Leather Care Cream - it says it is for use AFTER Autoglym Leather Cleaner...feels almost full.

It's yours if you can use it...will post it if you email address.

LK,

My daughter was surprised when I asked her if she liked the music of Klaus Schulze - Echoes of Time ...

My son has not replied yet...

Have you heard of Schulze?

""Lovely to have new people brought to my attention.
I hadn't heard of him but I see that he was in Tangerine Dream.
It also says he did ambient music. Are you going all ambient dad? ""
