Brexit and no new German Cars.

on Sun May 14, 2017 1:25 pm

Consider if Britain don't get a deal with Europe, well we build a lot of cars and sell them to Europe. We buy even more cars from Europe consume them. Therefore if there is no deal no German, French or Italian cars unless they are made on British soil I guess (or there will be a tax on them making them more expensive).

I actually don't think we will get much of a deal. Brussels needs money to operate and if you don't pay them any... I think you won't get any deal. Brussels don't care as much about German or French jobs that might disappear.

Makes sense to me.

Britain is the largest importer of German cars per volume..... There is no chance that a deal isn't going to be struck

I'm sure there will be a deal actually. But can you imagine what that deal will be... UK pays EU such and such for the pleasure of the EU to export more cars and stuff to Britain, than Britain does to the EU.

Anyway it's better to be on the outside and pay some to the poor sufferers on the inside I guess.
