Its a 1.8 i'vtec EX, rather nicely equipped with sat nav, dual zone climate, cruise, park sensors etc.
Part ex at work. I'd been thinking of Civics for past few weeks and this appeared...got it checked out and it seems kosher.
Big deal for me, this! Moves me out of shed territory, a bit anyway, it's still 10 years old......

Wow nice car. I bet it runs handles like new. Some Japanese cars are still built the old way, over engineered co2 pollution machines. Rather then the European models built to every European directive there is out there and as consequence are made out of paper.

Yep - me too .... very nice cars that still look good today.

My mum had a 1.4 version for years - never an issue - expect being horrendously under powered.

I drove a 1.4 a few months ago, i found it to be fine

Unless! Was hers the older 82ps DISI one? They were apparently slow.

The 100PS one i drove was pretty decent, i thought.

Not sure - same shape as yours - 2006 I think.

Might not actually have been that slow - but the engine made you very aware it was trying to pull a heavy car along !!

06 would have been the DISI version. They changed to the vtec 1.4 in 2009 i think. It was by no means fast but it was like...fine for a 1.4 16v.

That looks smart. Clean, nice alloys too.

Like the futuristic dash - except the digital speedometer that you can't see unless you have the driving position set up right!

You accusing him of looking at the speedometer?

Are you serious?

No, fair enough - all he needs is the instant mpg readout!

Ha, you know me too well! Although I'm more of an average mpg readout person :p

Yes, it's looking good. Will be using it from 1St June, thanks everyone. And yes, I'm replacing the horrible knob!
