They're doing pretty decent lease deals.on these and the q70 (and the q30) to try to get some on the road. The Q60 is bloody nice looking.

i knew nothing of the Infiniti line up except for the fact they were Nissan and had incredibly ugly front grills.

but, jeez, the kit you get for the money is something else, paired with the fact you get a Mercedes engine and gearbox as a bonus

A very good looking car - a bit like a Maserati from some angles, and a Lexus in others.

It's about time we had a few more credible options other than the Germans ... choosing between getting ripped off from Meecedes, BMW, or Audi is so boring .....

I've seen some very poor reviews for some Infiniti models.

Car magazine hated their long term Q30. They criticised it and Infiniti took it back off them immediately. Still, it is uncharacteristically ugly for the brand, and 0-60 in ,12 seconds is ridiculous for a 'premium' brand.

I'd rather have a Lexus - an RC-F in particular please!

Friend of mine had an Infinity loan car after his new Audi A4 got damaged - don't know which one - but he wasn't impressed.

The Infiniti brand in Japan is just Nissan. The funny thing is one of the names of one of the more popular ones over there, it was called the Nissan Cedric, Like Andi calls his Range Rover, George I suppose.

The Japanese either don't know how to do, or don't value refinement - that's the issue.

So is an Infinty a posh Datsun?

Three years out of the loop looking at cars really has dented my awareness.

Another story about Nissan -they produced tanks and stuff for the military so the after the war Nissan rebranded itself Datsun. Finally after a while they went back to being Nissan.

So an Infiniti is just a posh tank!

Infinity is to Nissan, what Lexus is to Toyota ...

Difference is Lexus feels a lot Moreno established (in the U.K. anyway)

i think the infiniti reviews mostly belong to their older models, the new Q30/50/60 seem to get very good reviews. I was genuinely impressed, the tech is another level and the value for money second hand is a steal -
not to mention that it drove comparably to a 3 series and a Audi Boring-o-box (a4)

I guess its a good buy for something you plan to keep for a few years as the depreciation is fierce
