I was almost thinking the same way Spot except my version was lifting the engine (225bhp plus remap) into a kit car chassis...

£2000 - that's an expensive engine.

Take the cash, and invest it in the engine of your choice ...

Normally aspirated is what you need really

A decent TT engine with all ancillaries, gearbox, ECU etc costs a fair chunk LK

The £300 1.8T engines on eBay are mainly bare engines which are bound to be old knackers with bits missing, cost to overhaul, cost to get bits reset

If you took a £2500 TT you'd recover a fair amount selling the parts you don't need, plus i'd be flogging a kit car or bits of a kit car so not a huge drama

plus, that particular TT has the BAM engine,far stronger than the other shite they fitted to the TT......an who on earth would want N/A over Turbo?? Very Happy Very Happy
