Good afternoon.
I'm off next week and xmas week. Can't wait.

No driving planned but i'd really like to do an early drive on my own somewhere to clear the cobwebs. Not sure if it'll happen though. I'm also pleased to say that....as of today..i haven't yet bought a single xmas present or card etc yet. I've also eaten some of the kids selection boxes already. Cos i'mm a fat Northern mess.

Off from the middle of next week. Not doing any travelling though. Most immediate family are local and/or are coming to us!

I thought of just driving ANYWHERE...

But Strictly finished last night...so might just stay at home.

VFC

You DO realise that of the millions who watch this shite a percentage of them drive cars...(I do not fly Ryanair if I can avoid it either - many of their pilots own televisions)

VFC, i hear you....i despise strictly come dancing too, or as its known in our house 'strictly zed listers shuffling around on a dance floor making themselves look awkward'

i'd rather watch cats fight (which i hate)

I don't have any feelings towards strictly. I know it's on but I don't like it so I don't watch it. Mrs Teeps used to watch it but hasn't for quite a while now.

260 miles done yesterday

Left home in the Snow
Drove through a hail storm
Bright sunshine
Umpteen rainbows
Stopped for food
More rain
Some more snow

Interesting drive, only two bits of really crap traffic. First lot at Honiton then the tail end of a road closure in Cornwall off the A30

Including the stop it took about 6 hours I guess, too few dual carriageways to really get moving

Horrible for all involved, at least when you lose an elderly relative you hope they e had a good life. At 5 weeks all you can hope is you’ve done your best for them in that short time

Poor wee thing Sad Them left behind I feel for.

Anyway, I've had 14 months off now and it's getting a bit boring. No energy to do much, but when I do stuff, my shoulders cause me so much misery it's easier just to do nothing...

Driving George is a chore as long journeys are fine, it's the short steery ones that cause me pain.

Can't ride my bike (Suzuki Burgman, it's a scooter, but with a "real" engine... a 650cc job) due to weather. But in the good weather, it's great as no pain due to leaning over to turn and no foot pedals. Looking forward to the good weather so I can get it serviced and get going on it. Would like to go to Lithuania, but need to wait til my shoulder is much better.

So, be glad of the work folks, I know it's shite having to, but it's much worse not being able to Neutral
