I like to thing so!

Yes - no point in my wife and kids having the Diesel on with its DPF and stupidly short drives.

The Brabiii seems to hold their value nicely.

Looks mean!! Smile

Presumably it's not fitted with the 6.3 V12 bi-turbo engine that Brabus make?

No - but it does boast the same output per litre - 100bhp/L - the same as the XFR!!!!

Mental price.

But yeah, they dont seem to depreciate much now.

My stepdads smart roadster doesn't get used much now, which is a shame. I wonder if his will keep its value? Its one of the last 2006ish ones, i think it's only got about 30k on the clock.

Great fun thing to drive. (wish it had a manual though but thats a loooooooooooooooooong common story/theme/argument about them)

Certainly hold their value. Some really good advice online for restoration.

The gearbox is rather interesting! An "auto" box with a conventional clutch (but no pedal)??!! Learning to drive them smoothly takes a while to learn - you have to lift off the throttle as it is about to change up. Even so the get change takes time.......

Certainly worth a bit, and unlikely to drop much..

I got my sis a Smart for four as a thank you for being my sis. It has the 1334cc Mitsubishi engine which is a real screamer when in manual mode. I had to deliver it 72 miles and it was a hoot flying past the kind of assholes who see a small car and put their foot down so you can't pass...C'ept I did and then some. One utter twerp in a for 2 (ugliest thing I've ever seen, sorry Huge) thought he'd "race" me! ME! Hah! I played him like a guitar, fiddle and feckin drum, what an absolute hoot Laughing I annihilated him at least 4 times and he kept trying to pass me (inside mind you...) so I played him another tune, the one that goes braaaaaaaaaaaaap Laughing Laughing into the distance and oh how I laughed at his smug face dropping (the 1st couple of times, I just kept seeing his disappointment at being beaten Laughing Laughing ). Made my journey that did.... I digress. The whole journey was a hoot in such a small car with such long legs. Long time since I've driven a petrol valver.

Anyway, my sister cannot make head nor tale of the manual box and thinks the auto clutch means kangaroo petrol as she describes it. Other than that little issue, she is delighted and calls her little car Brenda Cool Funnily enough, being silver body with black panels, it somehow "looks" like a Brenda for whatever reason Embarassed

Good on fuel too, same petrol journey in George would cost around 40 quid if driven in the same manner. On LPG it cost about 15 quid.

Anyway, the for four is 60% Mitsubishi Colt (all the mechanicals & floorpan) so spares aren't too much of an issue service wise. So simple to fix. Love it.
