Excellent! Well done. So it's one of the foking hardtop ones, nice. Bit of extra refinement and security with the roof up. Very good!

SOLD ... that's like £7500 !!!!!

OK - this is why I bought it ..

Lady is emigrating on Friday to Australia, and wants it gone.

She listed the car on Pistonheads only (and I've never had any success selling anything on Pistonheads), so had no interest.

Furthermore, she left it late to list it, and then it snowed, and its winter.

So ... she wanted it gone, and I wanted to buy it ... but its a used car ... I think other than the tracking its a very good car, but its been marketed poorly (so, just as I try to tell people daily, don't skimp on your Estate Agency and marketing, because you leave yourselves vulnerable).

Anyway ... I tried £3250, and she said yes to £3350 !!!!

She's happy (hot shot London Lawyer, so just really wanted it gone by Friday), and I'm happy, as its cheap cheap cheap !!!!

Hopefully I love it, but if not you might see it for sale for £4500+ when the sun comes out.

When do you get it and when can you give us a full review?

Don't worry about the Mrs, she puts up with you being an estate agent, the car won't push her over the edge yet Very Happy

Hmm I did rather over bid.

There is nothing wrong with the tracking unless you feel there is something wrong with it. The Agila wore tyres more on the inside edge and people were always telling me something wrong there is nothing it's always been like that.

Just sorted out my insurance .. £300 a year fully comp.

Yep, needs wheels and lowering.

Got a real desire for some aftermarket alloys .... either some really lightweight dark grey motorsport style ones, or I have a box I want to tick, which is Gold (not bright gold, more Lambo performante / 991 GT2 RS colour) ... more like a bronze tint ....

You need your other car to be a blue Suberu Impreza WRX if you want good alloys

Jeeeezus! And the chavving has already started!

Take it for a few drives first and examine whether a ride loweing and/or bigger wheelings would harm the ride/handling balance.

Big wheels and lower ride may look good, sure but are you more concerned with how the car looks...or how it drives? It might have the sweet spot in its current format. A lower, harder ride will be a PITA in town (and think of your driveway access too of course! ) If it's purely going to be tracked, then fair enough, for track handling these things would be beneficial but if you want flow and best of both worlds handling and ride...in my experience big wheels often spoil things a bit. (Just my opinion and I think you got a great deal!)
