Arse Biscuits...

on Fri May 04, 2018 9:54 am
Took bike into Aberdeen for a few jobs, replace CVT stopper bolt, new gear oil & final drive oil, replace tyre and adjust parking brake....

Except it didn't go like that!

Here's a loaner bike, a 2018 sit up & beg thing, 250cc. It was horrible. I digress. Sitting at daughters hoose, drinking tea and phone rings, see it's the bike shop and think "ooh, she's done!"

No she feckin wasn't!

Need new rear caliper as it's utterly butterly...or in English, it fecked!

Also, to go with the new caliper, I need a disc & pads. Total with parts & labour discount 515 quid Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

It might be in today....or it might be in on Tuesday Shocked

So, got a lift to the bus station and hopped onto a leather seated bus wiv toilet wifi and USB charge points... Cost me feck all as I have a bus pass for decrepit fat blokes. But if I wasn't decrepit enough, the 4.5hr journey home was torture, made worse by cuunts pressing the buzzer to stop at EVERY feckin bus stop along the route. Couple that to the talentless cunnt who crashed just outside Elgin, adding half an hour to the journey, it was bloomin awful. I could hardly get off the damn bus!

Wife picked me up at the stop and I could barely bend to get into the car.

Worst bit??

Having to do it again to go back for my bike Mad No Suspect

I should add, I wasn't exactly dressed for a 105 mile bus journey, what with wearing a bulky bike jacket, trousers and boots stiffer than Crix's knob when he gets to review a car... so not a comfy place to be Rolling Eyes

I know!

Selfish bastards weren't content with just stopping the bus though, they insisted on pressing the damn buzzer to get the drivers attention each time Rolling Eyes Laughing

No word from them so I am assuming Tuesday delivery for the caliper.

Gutted, gonna be bikeless for the weekend Mad

Sure I told you about her. Her mum was a bit of a cuuuunnnnnnnt, we'd split up and 7 months later....

Anyway, she's 31, has a son of 4 and so I'm a grandad. She makes a feckin excellent cup of tea.

Bike's not going to be ready til Tuesday....

What am I going to do Shocked Shocked Shocked

It's the weekend and stuff No

Still, get to see the grand son again and perhaps persuade him to come for a run on the bike Cool

Let the slagging and debate begin.... Rolling Eyes

That's ok, you didnt need to but I thought I'd just pick up on it.
So...if she's 31...you musta been quite young when you had her. I thought you were mid 40's at most!

Having trouble bending Mogs, my spine hurts like a bastard and the doc thinks I'm speaking shite. Funny though, the Osteo Cetra guy http://www.osteocentra.co.uk/ said I had damage, but they "still" disagree... So, quite apart from pain 24/7 I have to stuff a cushion under my arm to be able to sleep. Except sleep isn't always easy as if I turn onto my left side, the pain arrives slowly and builds until I can't stand it. It "all" comes from my spine, exactly at the point where I was convinced my ribs were broken at the time of the accident and where Claudio said... Which is why I am going to Lithuania at the end of July, for a full body MRI to see what's fucked up and see if it is repairable over there, seeing as how even though I have paid my stamp since I started working aged 16, I am not entitled to a decent treatment here coz I izn't black enough, innit Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Also, I have no facility to A) change & balance a bike tyre and B) no Suzuki code reading computer to reset the ABS system and see if the fueling is good! This bike is fuel injected, has a cat and O2 sensor.

I could do other stuff, but not until I get fixed Mad

Crix, I was 18....

Ah ok.

Well if you cannot fix yourself we have dignitas....

I think British have to pay if you are in an EU hospital. So you could try that.
