I think this one's a keeper.

I washed the car this morning, and an XF owning friend used some of his special wax on it (nothing rude!)...... Think I should settle down with this car for a while.

Could have done with your car this weekend - I bet it would have been awesome.

London to Poole Friday night.
Poole to Studlands Beech and back Saturday
Late night Poole to London tonight ....

Zafira punches way above its weight - but it’s beginning to feel bit tired. Only 28k miles, but the little 1.6 has had to give everything it has for virtually every blooming mile ...

80mph is very nearly 4,000 revs ... so this weekend alone it’s spent way over 4 hours at 4000 revs !!!

Mmmm. 70mph in 6th gear is about 1900 rpm in the XFR.

Beautiful car Hugh. The way the sun hits that rear quarter, lovely. Hints of green maybe, too?

When you say "I think this one's a keeper", you mean you might have it for a good 6 months? I've don't know anyone who changes their cars anywhere near as often as you lot! (Mogs and vfc excepted!)

I didn't know you were a naturist! All the way from London just to get your kit off? Takes all sorts!

I had my last one for 7 years, but yeah, Spot, Crix, LK, Hugh all change their cars more often than their underpants.

I've overdue a car change. I think i've had the Picasso since approx Sept last year. I'm in the rut of....the Picasso is *touch wood* a pretty decent car which is 'right' for us as a family at the moment.

It's not remotely fun or anything...but it's...'right'. Prctical, reasonable on fuel, £30 tax etc.
So i can't see it going (unless is breaks etc)
SWMBO is actually kinda now signalling that she may be willing to move on from the 107 (it's still providing good service but it has limitations now that we're a family of 4!) - and she said she'd use the Picasso...
So...IF that happens....it'll free me up for my next crixmobile!

Remember I had the Avantime for 11 years! I did change underwear once or twice in that time!
