The Mexican Artist ?

Yes. They could only get the 2 tickets! It's rather a popular show.

I’ve not been yet, but I hear that the exhibition presents an extraordinary collection of personal artefacts and clothing belonging to the iconic Mexican artist. Apparently some of the sheet on display has been locked away for 50 years after her death, and that this collection has never before been exhibited outside Mexico.

I need to try and get some tickets.

I think it has a number of her back braces from her injury too!

The alloys are ok. No worse than many standard one. Just being after market doesn't in itself make them bad and it doesn't turn a car from cool to uncool.

Nice old barge for the money, although it does have a whiff of the street pharmacist or Cockney rapper about it... Wink

Sad thing is...I wasn't even allowed to get it. (I didn't particularly want it....until I got it and drove it...
But by that point it had already been earmarked.
Very tricky now at work. One can not simply pick and choose one's cars anymore Sad

If I did have it, I would probably advertise the biiiig boolas and tyres to the #wideboys in a swap for some normal OEM ones. I like OEM.

Trade. Dealer auction first then selected traders. Which is fine, it's the way it should be as it's a business which needs to make money on every car bought and sold. Each time a member of staff gets a try...it usually means they take a hit, this is now not the way to do it.

Kinda. It's like...a bit cagey. Some garages are very strict on it, others aren't as much. We didn't used to be but now with the change of Director recently, things have changed.

Absolutely. Maintaining a good relationship with traders.
Dealer Auction is useful for getting a few more quid for each car too. Although I think it costs £40 per car on there. Most of the trade ins do make a bit I money on there - but not all.
When Dealer Auction doesn't work. ...that's when I'd have my chance. But there hasn't been much recently that's got me moist.

Wow, only someone who's never owned a French car would say something like that! Rolling Eyes

Wife's had her C4 for about 6 years & in all that time the worst thing to go wrong was when the CV boot came apart & ripped out the ABS sensor wires.

Been a great wee car Razz Wink
